Tenants Panel

Our Tenants' Panel aims to represent and promote tenant involvement, and to make sure that this is central to the delivery of all housing services.

The Tenants' Panel normally meets every two months to discuss and provide direction on housing and area-based issues. The panel acts as both a consultative and a decision-making body, through its involvement in council housing policy, strategy, management and maintenance issues.  Please see our useful documents area for the minutes of previous meetings and the code of conduct etc.

The panel was formed in 2001 and is made up of tenant volunteers from across the district, who normally meet at the Council's offices in Weeley. Transport can be arranged for you to attend these meetings or, if you use your own vehicle, a flat rate fee is payable for each meeting attended to help cover your travel expenses.
