Planning Enforcement Contact Details

Our Planning Enforcement team investigates possible breaches of planning control. We aim to resolve these by using the most appropriate means or actions. We also aim to deal with enquiries and complaints as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Enforcement action can only be taken where there has been harm caused to public amenity.

In general it is not a criminal offence to carry out development, which should have first been the subject of planning permission.
