Personal Search of the Land Charges Register

Requests for a Personal Search of the Land Charges Register can also be made via the Planning Service. These requests are free of charge and are processed within 10 working days.

The results of your personal search will:

• be unrefined data
• not be checked by one of our Local land charges officers

You can send an email to request a Personal Search to the Planning Reception Team on planning.services@tendringdc.gov.uk Tel 01255 686161

Your request must include:

• your name, address and contact details
• the search location, including the address and nearby roads
• one copy of a location plan, with the search area clearly outlined in red
• to tell us you are asking for a personal search

Request CON29 Information for a Personal Search

CON29 information is data not contained on a public register. Requests for CON29 can be made, free of charge, under Environmental Information Regulations (EIR).

EIR requests will be processed as soon as possible, but certainly within 20 working days.

Results will be emailed to the address provided.

Please note that Highway information is not held by Tendring District Council, but can be obtained from Essex Highways.
