There are a number of ways to gain access to information about Tendring District Council and to find out what information the Council holds about you. There are separate pieces of legislation that govern how the Council supplies different types of information. These are:
Data Protection legislation, which gives you the right to see information the Council holds about you
Freedom of Information Act 2000, which gives you the right to access information the Council publishes and other recorded information the Council holds
Environmental Information Regulations 2004, which gives you access to recorded information held by the Council relating to the environment
